The Lord's Prayer in the Ancient Aramaic language

 "Matthew 6:9-13
(Therefore, this is how you shall pray:)
Our heavenly Father, hallowed is your name.
Your Kingdom is come. Your will is done,
As in heaven so also on earth.
Give us the bread for our daily need.
And leave us serene,
just as we also allowed others serenity.

And do not pass us through trial,
except separate us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom,
the Power and the Glory
To the end of the universe, of all the universes." Amen!

Նահապետ Ռուսինյան «Կիլիկիա»

Նահապետ Ռուսինյան (1819-1876), հայ գրող, մանկավարժ, ազգային գործիչ: Ծնվել է Կեսարիա գավառի Էվքէերե գյուղում, սովորել է Կեսարիայում, այնուհետև՝ Կ.Պոլսում: 1844-51թթ. շարունակել է ուսումը Փարիզի Սորբոնի համալսարանում՝ ստանալով բժշկագիտության դոկտորի աստիճան: 1851թ. վերադառնալով Պոլիս՝ ծավալել է մանկավարժական, ազգային-հասարակական լայն գործունեություն՝ մեծ մասնակցություն բերելով արևմտահայոց Ազգային Սահմանադրության մշակման ու հաստատման աշխատանքներին: Ռուսինյանի «Կիլիկիա» բանաստեղծությունը, գրված 1860թ. հաստատուն տեղ ունի մեր ժողովրդի հիշողության մեջ, շնորհիվ հայրենասիրական ոգու և անկեղծ ներշնչանքի ( դարձել է երգ, երաժշտությունը՝ Գաբրիել Երանյանի): «Կիլիկիա» Երբոր բացուին դռներն յուսոյ, Եւ մեր երկրէն փախ տայ ձըմեռ, Չըքնաղ երկիրն մեր Արմենիոյ, - Երբ փայլե իւր քաղցրիկ օրեր. Երբոր ծիծառն իր բոյն դառնայ, Երբոր ծառերն հագնին տերև` Ցանկամ տեսնել զիմ Կիլիկիա, Աշխարհ, որ ինձ ետուր արև: Տեսի դաշտերըն Սուրիոյ, Լեառն Լիբանան և իւր մայրեր. Տեսի զերկիրն Իտալիոյ, Վենետիկ և իւր կոնտոլներ. Կըղզի նման չիք...
